Another Bad News Hits the Capital - Brig Moinud Din Shot Dead

Qari Hussain, one of the leaders of the Pakistani Taliban, has declared the whole country to be a war zone.

According a report of Dean Nelson, South Asia Editor, the reported comments of Qari Hussain were made as two Pakistani soldiers, including a brigadier, were killed when suspected Taliban gunmen attacked their vehicle in a drive-by shooting in a suburb of Islamabad which left the windscreen peppered with bullet hole.

The martyred Brig Moinud Din was deputed with UN Peace Force in Sudan, and was in his home country for a short period of time.
