Assistant Manager Education & Training Required at TCF

Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the training requirements of the schools as well as implementing training program in schools. In addition overseeing the academic evaluation of schools in the region.

Nature of Work and Links:

CEDOs and Education officer for taking feedback of their school visits, and identifying need based areas for train in and support

• HO & school staff members, (Principals and teachers) of TCF as well of other schools.   
• IED, SEF, SIE, & TCF any other organization identified by HO.

The purpose of interaction is to ensure the true implementation of the learning acquired by teachers in the INSET and PSET.

All above mentioned people and organizations are working in the domain of teacher education, which will help to enhance professional knowledge further to be imparted to the staff of TCF. 

Specific Accountability and Deliverables:

• To facilitate IN-SERVICE and PRE-SERVICE TRAINING of teachers as designed by HO Training Department.
• To implement/check training program in schools.

Deliverables:

1. To provide support and guidance to TCF schools in implementation of formats as provided by HO Education department.
2. To provide assistance in organizing educational workshops arranged by HO/Region time to time.
3. To evaluate/ assess academic progress of TCF SW region schools and provide necessary direction in time.
4. Mostly 60- 70% time of time is spent in providing need based training and evaluation of the performance

Working Conditions:

More or less 70% time spent in traveling for assessing and evaluating the performance of teachers and principals and provide need based support to the staff for ensuring the correct implementation of HO-TOT learning

Selection Criteria:

Qualifications:     Masters with Professional qualification e.g. B.Ed / M.Ed

Experience:       At least 5 years in teaching and training

Knowledge and Skills:

 

Having knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum, training aspects and teaching methods.

Having skills of critical thinking ,learning strategies, monitoring, communication &

Coordination etc
